Gentle, six-month preventive care — the cornerstone of a healthy mouth, paced for understanding and explained chair-side in English or Spanish.
No. 01 · Limpieza
Preventive care is the cornerstone of a healthy smile. Our professional cleaning removes plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing can't reach, while our comprehensive exam checks for cavities, gum disease, and early signs of oral cancer.
We recommend a cleaning and exam every six months for most patients. Dr. Soto's team uses gentle techniques to make every visit comfortable — and she explains everything in English or Spanish, so you understand what we see before we ever touch it.
After the cleaning, Dr. Soto reviews your X-rays and walks you through anything she sees — no surprise findings, no upsells. Just a clear picture of where your mouth is today, and what (if anything) to keep an eye on.
Paperwork is short and we verify insurance before you arrive. New patients get a 5-minute chat with Dr. Soto in English or Spanish.
Low-radiation digital X-rays let us see between and below the surface. Reviewed with you in plain language.
A hygienist removes plaque and tartar using gentle scaling and polishing. Tell us anytime if you need a break.
Dr. Soto reviews findings with you, answers any question, and only recommends what's actually needed.
For most patients, every six months. If you have gum disease, pregnancy, or specific risk factors, we may recommend every 3–4 months. We'll tell you what's right for your mouth — no upselling.
Most PPO plans cover two preventive cleanings per year at 100%. We verify your benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises. We also accept HMO plans, CareCredit, and cash payment.
A standard preventive cleaning is gentle and comfortable for most patients. If your gums are inflamed or you're anxious, let us know — we can numb the area or pace the visit. We never push through discomfort.
No judgment. A lot of patients come in after a long gap. We'll start with a more thorough exam and X-rays, and Dr. Soto will lay out a plan to catch you back up — in your time, at your budget.
Yes. We treat the whole family and often book back-to-back kid + parent appointments. Children get fluoride and a friendly, no-rush exam.
Every consultation is with Dr. Imelda Soto, DDS — board-certified, with 25+ years of experience and native bilingual care.
